Frequently asked questions
General questions
What is Lissa Health?
It is your personal health account — upload medical documents, get a clear picture of your condition, and share data with your doctor. All lab results, discharge summaries, genetic reports, and studies from different clinics — in one secure place.
How much does it cost?
Data storage and basic viewing — free. Every month you receive a free usage credit — typically enough for approximately 50 tests and reports. No subscription needed: you pay only for actual AI feature usage. Registration takes a couple of minutes, no card required.
Is this a replacement for a doctor?
No. Lissa Health is a tool that helps you and your doctor better understand your health. AI analyzes data and draws attention to what matters, but final decisions are always made by the doctor. Even a good specialist can miss something due to information overload — the app helps ensure nothing is overlooked.
What devices can I use?
Lissa Health works in any modern browser — on computer, tablet, and smartphone. No installation needed, your data is available from any device. You can also add the app to your desktop.
How it works
How do I upload a medical document?
Take a photo or upload a file of a test, discharge summary, or conclusion. PDF files, images (photos, screenshots, scans), text files, and genetic reports (VCF) are supported. The service automatically recognizes the document and adds the data to your history.
How accurate is AI data recognition?
For key fields, recognition accuracy typically exceeds 90%. You always see the original document next to the extracted data and can verify the result.
What does the AI assistant do?
It helps explain in plain language what is written in medical documents, draws attention to important changes in indicators, and answers questions about your data.
How does the AI assistant differ from ChatGPT?
Unlike general-purpose chatbots, the Lissa Health AI assistant works with your complete medical history, references specific documents and lab results. It is built specifically for working with medical data and ensures protection of personal information.
How can this be used?
- Upload blood test results (PDF or photo) — they will be automatically parsed and analyzed. Out-of-range indicators will be marked.
- At a doctor's appointment, quickly find lab results and create a temporary link for the doctor.
- Create an AI report with indicator dynamics and treatment effectiveness analysis.
- The app will remind you of related entries from your medical history.

In what languages can documents be?
AI recognizes documents in any language. You can upload tests and conclusions from clinics in any country.
How long does document processing take?
Usually 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Complex multi-page documents may take longer. You will be notified when processing is complete.
Can I upload DICOM images (CT, MRI, X-ray)?
Yes. You can upload DICOM files — CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound — and view them in the built-in medical viewer. Images can be shared with your doctor via a secure link. DICOM upload is available in Premium mode.
What if AI makes a mistake?
You always see the original document next to the recognized data and can verify the result. AI reports and interpretations are for informational purposes and do not replace a doctor's consultation.
Security and data
Are my data secure?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Only you and the doctors you explicitly grant access to can access it. Infrastructure is hosted in certified data centres with enterprise-grade security controls.
Can I download or delete my data?
Yes. You can export all data and original files at any time, and completely delete them from the system. Control over your data always remains with you.
Can I use the app anonymously?
Yes. You can completely exclude personal information from uploaded files and use the app anonymously. We do not require passport data for registration.
How do I delete my account and all data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. All your data will be completely deleted without the possibility of recovery. You can also export your data beforehand.
For clinics and doctors
How do we connect a clinic?
Usually we start with a demo, then launch a pilot in one department, train the team, and gradually scale the solution.
What is the recognition accuracy?
For key fields in main types of medical documents, recognition accuracy typically exceeds 90%. We always keep the original document for verification.
How does it integrate with HIS?
Through API and standard data exchange formats. We align technical details with your IT department — we have already worked with popular HIS and LIS systems.
How much does it cost for clinics?
Cost depends on volume and use cases. We use a transparent pricing model and tailor the format to your needs.
How is patient data security ensured?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is strictly controlled, and infrastructure meets applicable data protection and healthcare security requirements.
Is there a pilot period?
Yes. We offer a pilot project with limited scope so you can see the impact before scaling.
For government agencies
How does Lissa Health help funds and regulators?
We automate analysis of large volumes of medical data, help identify anomalies, and build clear reports for decision-making.
How does the system integrate with existing infrastructure?
We work through API and agreed exchange formats without disrupting current processes. We design the architecture together with your IT team.
Does the solution comply with legislative requirements?
Yes. The platform is developed considering applicable data protection and healthcare regulatory requirements. Data is processed in certified data centres.
Can the solution be deployed in the customer's environment?
Yes. We support both cloud and on-premise deployment, including in isolated environments.
How is implementation impact evaluated?
Together with you we define effectiveness metrics: budget savings, examination coverage growth, reduction in disputed cases, etc.
How long does a pilot project take?
Usually 2 to 4 months, depending on data volume, integration depth, and number of connected regions.
